3. please be as detailed as possible when explaining your situation. for software, include version numbers, and your operating sysyem (ie: Windows XP with SP2). for hardware, pretty much list your whole hardware list. include all peripherals (joysticks, speakers, anything). this gives us the whole perspective of your computer.
