I've been a fan of Norton Anti-virus for a very long time. Despite the fact that tech support isn't the best, and it uses a bigger memory footprint than others, Norton has won me over.

Norton Sucks!

Will never buy one of they're quirky products again..Had 6 months left on my 2005 subscription and it kept disabling itself...YOU CANNOT reinstall the 2005 version either...It won't reactivate...The local computer shop here used to recommend Norton, now they use AVG because Norton's software has gone bad the past few years...Personally am using Trend-Micro on my desktop and Avast on my laptop...Check out the latest edition of Consumer Reports, they give Trend-Micro the top rating...It is an excellent product...

I'm using mcaffe, it works well, and i got a good deal on it. I had norton before, and all it did was give me problems, so i switched . My friend uses Trend-Micro, and he hasn't had any problems with it yet. I hope this helped....and good luck on your virus protection hunt!

I've used both Norton AntiVirus and McAfee but ended up in choosing McAfee. I found it better and symtex keeps giving me pop up and frequent updates. If you have a serious virus problem, I recommended Panda Anti-Virus Internet Protection. A 30 day free-trial is available.

I have both McAfee and Norton Anti-Virus. I think that some components are brought out better in one or the other, so I have resolved to just use both. Its works well and my computer has been virus free.

I like Norton because when they develop a virus removal package, it includes a registry cleanup; the McAfee packages do not.

My favorite virus protection is whoever has the first package to remove it.

To keep the bugs away from your pc AVG is a good option.
It works fine for me.
Try AVG Free Edition you will definately find good results.
